How to Plan Your 2023 According to Its Major Influences
December 31, 2022
Saturn Entering Pisces, March 7, 2023
“The energy for 2023 is: supporting your peace by not becoming extremely busy. Give your time to what matters most and repeatedly let go of the rest.”
~yung pueblo
On March 7, 2023, Saturn will end its almost three years in Aquarius, and will move to Pisces
Saturn is the sign of structures, institutions, ambition, career, challenges, and life lessons.
Saturn gives a certain emphasis to the period it spends in each sign. Saturn comes to challenge us, teach us, and push us towards evolution in a certain direction.
Aquarius wants to use the mind for higher causes, to learn, research, investigate, and change the world. It is an unexpected, hectic, busy energy. We have all felt that.
Under Saturn in Aquarius, the pandemic and lockdowns acted like a pressure cooker that pushed us to grow, evolve, and learn new things like astrology.
Everybody went through some sort of spiritual breakthrough. We did not take this time to space out and chill. We were busier than ever before.
But now we all feel burnt out and saturated. We still want to learn, grow, and evolve, but we want to do it differently. Saturn entering Pisces is already felt in yung pueblo’s calling.
Why are we so busy all the time?
Whether you build your own business or work for a big organization, whether you take care of your kids or your parents, whether you have artistic, spiritual, or material aspirations for this year, ask yourself, how much of your busyness is truly necessary?
Are you using your busyness to escape from the harshness of the human condition, your pain frustrations, and fears? Are you trying to fill in the gaps so that you won’t have to deal with what’s real?
From flying high in the sky with airy, and somewhat detached, Aquarius, we are asked to dive deep into the water of Pisces.
Saturn in Pisces is calling us to connect with our soul, our emotions, our sensitivities, our hearts. It wants us to go inwards and find peace with what it means to be a soul in a human body.
During Saturn in Pisces, we are asked to take the spiritual path and to let go of everything we don’t need, every desire that does not serve us well, anything that does not serve the higher good of all.
Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac. The next station of Saturn is Aries, the first sign of the zodiac. Aries is often compared with The Fool Tarot card, which depicts a young man embarking on his journey, carrying a bindle.
A bindle cannot contain much. Before you initiate a new journey, you must get rid of everything that is no longer needed. You must connect with the core of your being, your soul, and see what it needs.
Pluto Entering Aquarius, March 23, 2023
This is a big one! Pluto has been in Capricorn since November 26, 2008. On March 23, 2023, it will start transitioning into Aquarius. It will go in and out of Capricorn and Aquarius, until it will finally stay in Aquarius from November 19, 2024, to March 8, 2043.
Pluto is the planet of healing, transformation, and power. While in Capricorn, it influenced main structures, institutions, and the way we work.
Pluto is the furthest away from the sun and move the slowest. Therefore its themes are global and grand.
As Pluto moves into Aquarius, we should expect transformation and healing happening in issues related to technologies, advancement and humanities.
Pluto in Aquarius might bring more humanism into our advancement and technology.
Pluto also represents the power of femininity.
I’ve just recently had a client who works in a tech company. She was burdened under the impossible demand of her job, the need to constantly be available and ready to work. This has made it impossible for her to spend quality time with her children. She was constantly torn apart between career and motherhood.
I know this all too well, as I worked in tech companies for twelve years. Most are patriarchal environments, which do not acknowledge the need for career-life balance.
I hope that through Pluto in Aquarius, the feminine aspect will be enforced on the way we do technology and advancement. That we will find a healthy, powerful, yin yang balance in our lives. I hope healing will come to this fast paced and highly demanding modern world we live in.
Jupiter Entering Taurus May 16, 2023
During 2022, Jupiter moved between Aries and Pisces. This year it is moving forward:
- Jupiter in Aries, December 20, 2022, to May 15, 2023
- Jupiter in Taurus, May 16, 2023, to May 24, 2024
While Saturn is here to push us towards evolution through challenges, Jupiter marks our good luck and expansion. It also stands for our philosophical ideas, our belief systems and what we like to do for fun.
When Jupiter is in Aries, it encourages us to initiate, be physical, move energy, start new projects, have new ideas.
As Jupiter moves into Taurus, it asks us to slow down. Our new initiations and ideas from the time of Jupiter in Aries, need to meet the concrete reality. They need to form and structure.
We will expand by paying attention to the small details and enjoying our senses. It will be a great time to hike in nature, watch the sunset, and stay in the familiarity of our own home. It will also be advised to make cautious financial plans and secure our financial future.
Planning Your 2023
When you make your 2023 plans and vision, think about slowing down, letting go, being creative, and embracing femininity.
Think about cultivating better emotional understanding, more self-compassion, more compassion towards others, better understanding of the human condition, more kindness, more meditation, more quiet time, more simplicity.
Make sure your plan includes a reasonable time for all these aspects of your life:
- Parenting and care giving to others
- Relationships and romance
- Career and finances
- Socializing and friendships
- Wellness and growth including yoga, exercise, therapy, and meditation
- Traveling, recreation, and fun
- Creativity
- Volunteering, community, and eco activities
- Resting, spacing out and doing nothing!!!
Remove pressure from your aspirations. Remember that it’s okay to want to publish a new book, or reach a certain benchmark, but if you don’t, your life would still be wonderful.
Give higher priority to your health and your relationships with family and friends. At the end of the day, these are the most valuable things in our lives. If you live life under stress to save the world, you might pay for it with your own life. Then you won’t be able to save anything.
Spiritual growth cannot happen when we speed up. We must slow down to connect with our soul and listen to our heart.
Only then, we can let go of the perceptions and patterns that don’t serve us, while reinforcing those that help us thrive.
Happy New Year,
Much love,
Yael
