Pisces season, Venus retrograde, and the upcoming Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse in Virgo invite us to apply a new creative approach to life. 

As I entered adulthood, life became too painful. There was the pain of almost losing my brother to leukemia and then losing my mother to cancer. There was the pain of rejection and not being loved.

1. Last week, while creating content for my new classes, there were many moments when I did not know what my next sentence or bullet point should be. I stopped, gazed at the computer screen, and placed my fingers on the keyboard, waiting for guidance on what to write next. I was also not consistent with my work. I allowed myself to take breaks, get up, and daydream.

Even though it took me longer than I would have wanted, something magical happened in this process. The most extraordinary ideas flew through me effortlessly, and I ended up with a much greater workshop than I ever imagined.

2. While all zodiac signs are creative to some degree, there are four signs with heightened creativity. 

Taurus is earth creativity, Leo is fire creativity, Libra is air creativity, and Pisces is water creativity.

Water creativity is all about connecting to the unseen forces of the universe. When you create with Pisces energy, you allow yourself to daydream and listen. You don’t push yourself to produce anything; you don’t try to do it perfectly. You trust that you are guided and allow things to flow through you.

With Pisces’ creativity, you are the tool and not the creator. You are a channel and not the source. There is so much ease in this type of creativity because there is no stress or pressure to make it a certain way or to achieve something through it.

You don’t want to go Pisces all the way because it’s also important to meet expectations and timelines. Being aware of limitations helps to ground the process. Still, when you create only from a grounded place, you miss much of the enchanted magic and pleasure you can get through Pisces’ dreamy, spiritual creativity.

3. It’s not just Pisces season that made me change my creative process—it’s also Venus retrograde. Venus rules creativity and relationships, indicating a strong connection between the two. 

We all feel the retrograde’s impact pushing us around and bringing to the surface every unresolved issue we face in our romantic relationships. Applying my creative Piscean approach helped me deal with my Venus retrograde challenges.

I used to be a fool, fearing the worst whenever Venus retrograded. If my husband and I would argue about where to live, I immediately thought we could never find a place where we are both happy, so our relationship could never work. I looked at things only from the practical side, and the gaps seemed impossible to bridge.

But when I remind myself of my soul connection with my husband and the divinity of our love, I can be creative in finding ways to work through our gaps and disagreements. Wisdom can always be offered to us on how to resolve our situation if we are willing to listen and remain open to receiving the messages.

4. When Venus retrograde, we can not create or solve relationship issues like we are used to. If we try to do that, we get stuck. 

Venus is the planet of passivity and magnetism. It wants us to attract inspiration and creative solutions. We are used to trying hard to make things work for us. We don’t trust that if we sit and wait, the answers will come to us, and we will know exactly what to do.

5. I am sure you’ve already heard about the coming Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse in Virgo. If you expect me to tell you that this eclipse will change your life, I am sorry, I won’t. I am just not this type of astrologer. I don’t want to excite you and leave you empty and frustrated. 

We have gone through so many eclipses without even knowing that, and nothing happened to us, right? 

The Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse in Virgo won’t change our lives unless we use its energy to bring balance into our creativity. On the Virgo side, we need to plan, set expectations and schedules, tend to the little details, and analyze our situation. On the Pisces side, we need to allow wisdom to flow through us. We need to sit ready, trusting that the right ideas will come to us without any effort. We need to daydream and allow room for magic in our creativity to flow. 

6. Most importantly, we must remember that we are the creators of our lives. We create our lives with every decision we make, every thought we have, and every emotion we feel. We paint the canvas of our reality with our imagination. We can choose to make our lives both practical and magical.
